Jeff O'Brien

Jeff was like a brother to me....one of the best friends I've ever had. He was a part of our family. He called my children his niece and nephew and loved them like they were his niece and nephew. He was a really great person. Oh we had our fights, we fought like a brother and sister and loved each other like a brother and sister. We worked together for 15 years and he was at every family function we ever had.

Jeff had been losing weight and one day after taking in another notch on his belt I made him call the doctor to make an appt. for a check up. They determined he had a tumor behind his stomach near his pancreas. He went into surgery on February 8th, 2002 and never woke up. The tumor had tripled in size and was vascular. They could not stop the bleeding and he died.

Jeff started leaving me dimes every where I went. I swear he was still putting in his ten cents worth! He wanted me to know he was still around and watching over all of us. I still find dimes where ever I go, even after 7 years.

I miss you Jeff!!!!
